Bad design is empathy atrophied.

 

In the middle of the night, you look at your alarm clock and wonder: Does does the dot beside the time signify AM? Or PM? Or that the alarm is set? Could the lights not say “AM”, or “PM”, or “ALARM ON”?

 

Most say things probably are as they are for a reason. It takes the brain of a designer to know that they aren’t. So a design school asked Penguin for a call-to-arms to the next generation of UX designers through a short film depicting atrocious design failures to which we can all relate — designers and non-designers alike.
